Great selection of sandwiches! I wanted to try them all but I ended up getting the chicken meatball with tikka sauce and my husband got the roasted pork. Both of them were delicious! We will be back!

So good--the sandwich was fresh, and I was surprised by the kick of spice from the jalapeños (in a good way). What won me over was the bread, with the salt crust on top will definitely be back!

I got the smoked turkey club sandwich here, which was very hearty and substantial even though it was white bread. It filled me up for hours! The bread was toasty and filled with fresh and thinly sliced turkey, crunchy bacon slices, and crisp lettuce. The sun dried tomato aioli was the star - it elevated the sandwich and really made it taste gourmet. Note that it's takeout only, but there's enough room to wait inside while your order is being made. I'd venture to say this is one of the best sandwiches I've had, and I will definitely be back!

Delicious hearty sandwiches with generous portions of meat! Herb 'n Twine is a cute little hole in the wall with great service. They had a chicken cutlet sandwich on their specials and it was to die for! I will definitely be back. Keep in mind that they are takeout only!

Carry out only sandwich spot with some unique twists on classics. I'm not vegetarian but decided to try the vegetarian sandwich and omg it was so good! First of all it's not basic lettuce tomato onion that you can make anywhere. There's roasted veggies and pickled veggies and there was soft and there was crunch. I could taste that some of the veggies were sprinkled with sea salt or something similar and that made the sandwich 10x even more special. I've never found a more fancy but delicious vegetable sandwich anywhere else. Staff was also so friendly and service was fast. Parking is street only.

Every city I travel to I try to search for the best sandwich spot before I go. While I can't say 100% that this is the best place in Cleveland, I can say that I was absolutely not let down by the quality. Tight menu of curated sandwiches, no more and no less. This is a no-frills sandwich spot for real sandwich fans and it was amazing.

Herb & Twine is one of my favorite Sandwich shops in town. There's only one vegetarian option on the menu but it is AMAZING! The Vegetable sandwich has Curried sweet potato, Pickled onion, Tomato masala, Lettuce Tree Farm pea shoots, Coconut, & Tamarind chutney. I'm usually not the biggest sweet potato person (unless it's in a pie) but it... works? Unfortunately, there isn't any seating here so it isn't a place you can sit down to eat at but I still enjoy it all the same. The works are kind, no matter if they have a rush or not.

This place gets A LOT of hype, but is it worth it? YES. This restaurant is takeout only. We walked in around noon on a Friday. There was only one person in front of us in line. We ordered two sandwiches: the vegetable (it's vegetarian) and the Turkey club. I saw from reviews online that we should be prepared for a long wait. So we sat down on the bench inside to wait. I was pleasantly surprised when we only had to wait 15 minutes during the prime lunch hour! We go the two subs, two bags of chips, and two bottles of water for under $30, which I thought was so reasonable! The sandwiches were hearty and big! We took our sandwiches to the nearby park / library to eat on a bench, since there was no where to actually eat at the restaurant. Being a vegetarian, it's difficult to find filling and flavorful food. But omgsh, this sandwich was amazing! (My husband said it was even better than his!) So many wonderful flavors from the sweet potato, to the picked red onions, the pesto, the fire roasted tomato. OMG YUM. My husband was impressed by his Turkey club saying it was the best sandwich he's ever had. He said all the flavors worked together nicely. 100% recommend !

Ive been dying to try this place, as I've heard very good things about it!! I drove by it by chance one day an had to turn around and get something!! I decided on the Italian - my go to sub - I was especially excited about the roasted garlic mayo!!! The sandwich was pretty big and stuffed with ingredients. This sandwhich was SO GOOOOOOD!! I must admit, I am not a fan of saving a sub because the sauces usually cause the bread to go soggy by the next day...but I couldn't finish the whole things like I usually can. The next day when I opened the sandwich to finish the 2nd half....it was as if it was made fresh right then and there. The bread wasn't soggy at all and everything tasted the same as it did the day before!!! Probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in Cleveland, I can't wait to go back and try more!!

The BEST sandwich shop in Cleveland. From the outside it looks like a hole in the wall. But from the minute you walk in and smell the place you know it's next level. You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, even the vegetarian sandwich is great. My favorites are the Italian and the Nashville hot chicken. Both have a ton of flavor and are huge, so it's very filling. The staff are all fantastic. Only con is that it can be hard to get through to them when you call on Friday or Saturday. They're closed Sunday. If you want to order you have to call so make sure to call right when they open.
